Rainbows Support Program: Help for Grieving Children and Teens
Who: Children who have experienced a loss through death, separation or divorce ages kindergarten through grade 12.
Why: To help children and teens cope with emotional pain of divorce, death, and other family losses.
What: A 13-week program of healing. Weekly attendance is a must.

Rainbows is an international, not-for-profit organization, founded to help children and teens cope with loss. Since 1983, it has served more than 700,000 children, teens, and adults.
The Goals of Rainbows:
To furnish each child with an understanding of his new family unit
To assist in building a stronger self esteem
To help each child move towards a healthy resolution of the changes that have taken place in his or her life.
This is accomplished through peer support, nurturing adults, a secure, safe environment, acceptance, discovery of personal coping tools and expression of grief feelings.

Do you need help in getting used to the changes that comes with loss?
